Gravity Filling Machines
Gravity filling machines are great for filling water thin products with some foam accurately.
Pressure/Gravity Filling Machines are available for a fraction of the price of a positive displacement pump filling machine because a pump is not needed for each head to fill bottles accurately. The machine can be set up to run with a gravity flow through the fill heads or using air pressure to fill thicker products with individual fill head control.
The gravity filler can be set up with a bottom fill or subsurface fill to fill foamy and extremely foamy products successfully.

The machine indexes the bottles into the fill area the bottles are filled then move out of the fill area. Then cycle is then repeated.
Bottom fill gravity filling machines will fill extremely foamy thin products using a subsurface fill
The bottom fill machine has long nozzles that move inside the bottles and go the bottom of the bottle before the fill starts. With the nozzle below the product level the foam is kept to a minimum during the fill.
The gravity filling machines are easy to set up and use.

Semi-automatic gravity filling machines are less expensive than an automatic machine with a conveyor
The semi-automatic gravity filling machines are a good way to get production without having the larger investment of an automatic filling machine with the conveyor.
The semi-automatic filler works the same way an automatic filler works but the operator moves the bottles in and out of the fill area.

Below is the gravity filling machine concept, operation and set up.
Gravity filling machines fill bottles and other containers to the same volume every time when set up properly.
This is done by using a timed gravity fill.
We offer several types of gravity filling machines that will accurately fill water thin products into bottles and containers from a few drops up to over 5 gallons.
Our standard gravity filling machine fills small bottles up to gallons. With modifications the machines will fill 5 gallon pails, carboys and other larger containers and fill sizes.
As long as the tank on top of the filling machine is filled to the same level before each fill and everything else remains the same the fill heads are opened for a certain amount of time to allow the proper volume to go into the bottles every time.
The gravity filling machine works best with water thin products that have little to no foam.
A subsurface or bottom fill can be used as an option on the gravity filler to run foamy products.
Thicker products can be filled using the same type of timed fill by using air pressure to push the thicker products into the bottles. Soaps and lotions are two types of products that work well running through a pressure/gravity filling machine.
This same type of machine can be set up to fill thin corrosive products like acids or bleach.
Of course these and all our machines are made of materials compatible or resistant to the products being filled.
We offer an automatic gravity filler with a conveyor and automatic bottle indexing, a semi-automatic and a table top machine.
Our standard machine comes with a pump to fill the filler tank and is complete and tested with water before shipment.
We have a single head test filling machine so we can test your product to see how it will flow and the approximate speed it will take to fill your containers if you send them to us along with the products.
