Overflow Filling Machines

Overflow filling machines fill bottles and containers to the same level every time — making them ideal for products in clear containers where consistent fill appearance matters. This is sometimes called a cosmetic fill. Overflow fillers work great for thin products like cleaners, degreasers, fertilizers, and most thin liquids.

The overflow filling machine fills to a level instead of by volume, so the levels in bottles you can see through look the same. A variable speed pump controls how the product flows into the bottles, keeping foam to a minimum and giving the operator more control over how the product behaves during the fill.

Overflow fill heads allow excess product to flow back into the machine tank, maintaining a consistent fill level across all bottles. A float system keeps the tank at a consistent level throughout the fill.

Our automatic overflow filling machines use a conveyor to index bottles into the fill area, fill them to a consistent level, then move them out for the next cycle. Adjustable fill heads accommodate a variety of bottle sizes and shapes.

This 4 Head Sanitary Overflow Filling Machine is used to fill pharmaceutical products. It features sanitary fittings at all tubing connections, mounted on a stainless cart with a sanitary tank pump. The machine includes: 4 overflow fill heads with sanitary tube connections, diving heads, bottle holders, pin indexing, 2 sanitary pumps (one to fill the tank and one variable speed to fill the bottles), overflow machine tank in stainless steel, stainless steel manifold with Tri-clover style fittings, float system to keep the tank at a consistent level, 20-foot long stainless shell conveyor with heavy duty drive and variable speed, guarding in front of fill heads, and all controls. Tested with water before shipment.

Semi-automatic overflow filling machines are a good alternative to a fully automatic overflow filling system because of the lower price. The semi-automatic filler works the same way as an automatic filler, but the operator moves the bottles in and out of the fill area.
